Rep. Elise Stefanik, who has represented New York’s 21st district in the U.S. Congress since 2015, used her social media platform on December 17, 2025, to address a series of concerns regarding state leadership and local initiatives.

In a post made at 17:54 UTC, Stefanik criticized New York Governor Kathy Hochul’s handling of safety measures for Jewish schools. She wrote, “The Jewish community is under attack in @KathyHochul’s New York. And now it appears that the Worst Governor in America is slow-walking funding for Jewish schools to protect their students and faculty from antisemitic attacks. I’m demanding answers for her catastrophic”.

Later that evening at 19:20 UTC, Stefanik addressed healthcare management issues in the state, particularly related to Medicaid. She stated, “New Yorkers in #NY21 deserve better than @KathyHochul ‘s Medicaid mismanagement mess. That’s why I’ve called on @TheJusticeDept to investigate. The Worst Governor in America’s willful incompetence is leaving hospitals on the brink of closure just weeks before Christmas and”.

In a separate message posted at 21:16 UTC, Stefanik highlighted her ongoing work supporting young constituents pursuing military service. She shared, “This afternoon while working in Washington, I was honored to notify incredibly accomplished young leaders across #NY21 to offer my Congressional nomination for admission to our esteemed military academies. Elise Stefanik has served as the U.S. Representative for New York’s 21st District since replacing Bill Owens in 2015 and resides in Schuylerville after being born in Albany in 1984. A Harvard University graduate with an AB degree, she remains active both legislatively and within her constituency.
