Rep. Elise Stefanik, who represents New York’s 21st district in the U.S. Congress, posted on July 22, 2025, about her participation in the groundbreaking ceremony for a new EMS facility in Montgomery County and highlighted her ongoing efforts to support emergency services and national security.
In one of her posts on July 22, Stefanik wrote, “This is more than a new building and a fancy facility. It’s about investing in the security and strength in our upstate communities. It’s about making sure when that emergency occurs, our community EMS team, they are ready to respond, they have the resources to do so, and they”. Later that day she added details from her visit: “Yesterday, I was in Montgomery County with Sheriff Jeff Smith, county and local elected officials, & our dedicated first responders for the exciting groundbreaking of the new EMS Facility that I delivered federal funds to support. Proud to bring #RealResults to our #NY21”.
In another post dated July 22 as well, Stefanik extended congratulations within her party: “Congratulations to my friend and fellow NYer @RepGarbarino on his election as Chairman of Homeland Security! The NY Republican Delegation & the @HouseGOP are laser focused on securing the border, strengthening cybersecurity, and protecting our national security.”
Stefanik has served as a member of Congress representing New York’s 21st District since 2015 after replacing Bill Owens. Born in Albany in 1984 and currently residing in Schuylerville at age 38, she holds an AB degree from Harvard University.
