On December 3, Stefanik posted about a legislative provision related to FBI investigations into political candidates: “Great news! After a productive discussion I had last night with President Trump and Speaker Johnson, the provision requiring Congressional disclosure when the FBI opens counterintelligence investigations into presidential and federal candidates seeking office will be included” (December 3, 2025).
Later that morning, she referenced her appearance on CNBC’s Squawk Box to discuss ongoing efforts against government misuse of power and other bipartisan measures: “Great to join @CNBC this morning on @SquawkCNBC to discuss my bipartisan wins against the weaponization of government, our efforts to end congressional stock trading, and the growing support for our campaign to Save New York!” (December 3, 2025).

Elise Stefanik has represented New York’s 21st District in Congress since replacing Bill Owens in 2015. She was born in Albany in 1984 and currently resides in Schuylerville. Stefanik holds an AB from Harvard University.
