EDA awards the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe $47,000 grant on Aug. 15, 2019

The US Economic Development Administration awarded the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe a grant worth $47,000 to help fund a project in Franklin County.

The grant was awarded on Aug. 15, 2019. The EDA describes the grant as follows:

"This EDA planning investment supports the development and implementation of a comprehensive economic development strategy (CEDS) for the region served by the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe. The CEDS process is designed to bring together the public and private sectors in the creation of an economic development roadmap to diversify and strengthen the regional economy."
