Town of Jay issued the following announcement on Oct. 27.
Please be advised that the BOIL WATER ORDER for the Town of Jay W1 Water District (Au Sable Forks users) has been lifted by the New York State Department of Health.
We are pleased to announce that the previous water system has successfully been switched over to the new system. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Environmental Facilities Corporation, Essex County, and the many contractors and Town of Jay employees that made the Au Sable Forks Water Improvement Project #4487 a success.
