There were two gas stations in cities across Clinton County selling regular gas at the lowest price of $3.19 per gallon in the week ending Sept. 7, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.
The average reported cost of regular gas in cities within Clinton County was $3.38 per gallon.
Of the 60 reported gas stations in cities within Clinton County, 32 offer regular gas.
The average reported price of regular gas in New York was $3.39, compared to $3.43 the week before.
Drivers across the U.S. have faced a rollercoaster of gas prices in recent months and years. Though the cost of a gallon of gas is dropping, experts suggest they may rise to $4 before the end of 2024.
